This
tracking report provides information
that is vital to any online marketer. A
"bounce" occurs when a visitor
leaves a web site after only viewing
the page on which he entered. Two
possible reasons are:
1) the site did not seem
relevant to the information he was
searching for, or
2) he did not gain enough of a
favorable impression to continue to
explore the site. Ways to lower the
bounce rate include changing page
design, changing page content to be more
relevant to searches, and adjusting promotion campaigns to focus on more
targeted keywords. You may also find
that visitors are entering site on
pages that were not originally intended
as entry pages. |
