Privacy Policy

Summary

This policy clearly outlines how BlizzardTracker interacts with the Google Analytics server and who has access to your data.

Registration

To gain entry a user must first complete a registration form. During registration user is required to give basic contact information including as name and email address.

How is my data accessed?

BlizzardTracker accesses your data directly at Google Analytics using a secure connection and the official Google Analytics Data Export API.   Blizzard Tracker uses the secure AuthSub Authentication and Authorization process which makes importing statistics possible through a special access token.

Your login information is never sent to BlizzardTracker. Login information is sent only to the official Google Analytics servers for authentication. BlizzardTracker is granted access and given a secure “token,” which we store, that gives us access to your data. For your security, this token is secured by Google and designed in a way that can only be used by BlizzardTracker’s servers.

This is a read-only application for GA data reporting. At no time does this application attempt to change or write to your Google Analytics data.

Is my data and/or report publicly accessible?

Your raw Google Analytics traffic data will never be made publicly accessible.  Only aggregated data (aggregated with other accounts to create averages) is available in the BlizzardTracker reports and shared with other users.

The data is not linked to any personal identifiable information that can identify an individual person, a website, or a business.

By default, your generated report is only accessible by you, requiring your unique login to access it.  An administrative user may inspect your account to confirm data integrity.

Is it possible that third parties will be able to check the statistics other than the ones I have made available?

Third parties can only gain access to aggregated statistics without any personal identifiable information.

Can I delete my report (data)?

Yes, you can:

1.    Revoke Access to your Google Account from Google’s Control Panel.

2.    Revoke Access to your Google Account from your BlizzardTracker User Page (click Edit).

3.    Remove ALL DATA permanently from BlizzardTracker. To do this, click Delete in Profile View. Upon deletion, all data generated by the report will be permanently deleted and unavailable to users. If you accidentally delete a report, you must re-run your report to regain your data.

How is my contact information used?

Only your account demographic and industry niche data is used to provide aggregation points.  Your contact information is only used to contact you regarding BlizzardTracker and Blizzard Internet Marketing, Inc. related communications.  Your contact information will not be provided to third parties ever.
